Shakespeare Showcase Actors Ashleigh Brown and Julian Morris.
In Empty Chair Theatre Company's premiere production seven actors brought to life some of Shakespeare's most famous characters. This first performance opened June of 2007 at H-B Woodlawn's Black Box Theatre. The company performed a wide range of scene's from Romeo and Juliet, Measure for Measure, A Midsummer Night's Dream, TItus Andronicus, Othello, Hamlet, Taming of the Shrew, Comedy of Errors, Love's Labour's Lost and Macbeth. Nearing and Sears directed as well as acted in the production. The Shakespeare Showcase began the company's principle of intensely collaborative plays that allow performers to explore every aspect of live theatre. Directed By Elizabeth Nearing and Julia Sears.
